Do you find yourself constantly thinking about food or what your next meal will be when you haven't finished the one in front of you? Does food control your lifestyle and get in the way of feeling connected and free?
Not feeling in control and having an unhealthy relationship with food can feel embarrassing, alienating, and tiring due to food's essential part of our existence.
Are you getting married soon or recently married and want to improve and strengthen your current relationship?
Having strong love maps and ensuring your bonds are sturdy at the beginning can help you and your partner glide through various transitions and adjustments with grace, dignity, and respect.
Do you or your partner have mental health concerns that impact your relationship?
Expressing concerns about your relationships can make you feel guilty or judged since you love the partner for who they are beyond their mental health.
Have you been feeling down and constantly worried? Feeling a lack of motivation, hopelessness, irritability, or fatigue?
This can make it difficult to see a path forward and lack joy. Frequent worry can lead to feelings of panic, feeling paralyzed, and tunnel vision.
Do you have trouble focusing, find yourself forgetful, disorganized, and restless? Have an ADHD diagnosis and want to increase your functioning?
It may be difficult to set and maintain goals that you recognize are important for your future. It may be difficult to ask for help and feel like you are wearing a mask.
I am a Licensed Mental Health Counselor with over 10 years in the helping professions. I have worked in various areas of mental and social services which has provided me with the opportunity to meet and interact with many different types of people. I enjoy working with all types of people, but I am specifically interested in working with couples, individuals with eating disorders or disordered eating, and those with issues with executive functioning due to ADHD, anxiety, depression, or transitions. My partner is a disabled combat veteran, so I also have interests in working with veterans and their partners to help navigate those unique struggles and challenges.
Let my judgement free, genuine, and assertive approach help you rebuild and strengthen your relationships, whether it’s with food, your partner, or yourself. I bring enthusiasm in to every session and am passionate and hopeful about seeing people become happy and reach their fullest potential.
